LUX* Maldives

The LUX* Maldives resort has a superb range of restaurants and bars, set in stunning locations.

Cuisines include Oriental Style with influences from Lebanese, North African and Indian, traditional Italian and Asian, featuring Cambodian, Thai and Malaysian. The resorts flagship is it's Japanese restaurant, 'Pure'.

At the LUX* Maldives there are team members available every day to look after children aged from 3 to 12 years.

A whole range of activities are organised for them, adapted to particular age groups, to make sure they too experience an unforgettable holiday.

Children can have lunch at the kids club between 12.00 and 13.00 and dinner between 18.30 and 19.30

Children below 3 years old must be accompanied by a parent or a baby sitter. A baby-sitting service, for which a fee is charged, is also available.

For teenagers there is t 'The Teens Club' a space where older youngsters can relax and have fun. The Club has a TV, DVD player and games machines.

Superb leisure facilities include two pools, a spa with overwater treatment rooms, six restaurants and bars, a five-star dive centre offering PADI tuition, floodlit tennis courts and a gym.

The Boathouse is the jumping-off point for adventures at sea: go snorkelling and diving off dhonis to see parrot fish, stingrays and even whale sharks.

All accommodation is in traditional Maldivian style using indigenous materials.

Water Villas are located at the two farthest ends of the island for maximum privacy. Built on stilts, they have a terrace with direct access to the lagoon. Beach Pool Villas have a garden with a private pool, and the bedrooms face west to catch the sensational sunsets.
