We Love: The faultless levels of service. And it's super child-friendly, with an array of kids' activities on offer.
Curtain Bluff celebrates 50 years of the same private ownership in 2012, and its continuing success as a world class resort lies in its longevity. Renowned for its club-like ambience, exemplary service levels and 25,000-bottle wine cellar, its perfect location is what really sets it apart. Dominating a private bluff on Antigua's south coast, its Caribbean beach is tranquil and calm and its Atlantic beach deliciously windblown and wild. The air-conditioned guest rooms and suites take full advantage of this setting; they deliberately eschew modern conveniences such as TVs and radios, preferring to rely upon the views for entertainment. Curtain Bluff is a sporting paradise, with complimentary activities including tennis and squash courts, a fitness centre, aerobics, yoga, Pilates, a swimming pool and water sports including deep sea fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving for certified divers. The fabulous spa, set on the water's edge with views over the sea, has five treatment rooms and a cliff edge infinity hot tub. Evenings begin with canapés and apéritifs in the bar, followed by alfresco dinners.
